Even at high velocity, the 201 Nickel Hollow Pipe also gives excellent service in flowing sea water. Though when the Nickel 201 Welded Pipe is exposed to settings where the water is either stagnant or in settings where the sea water has very low velocity, the Nickel 201 ERW Pipe is susceptible to severe local attack which in turn can occur under conditions that are favourable to bio fouling organisms or other corrosive deposits.
